Workshop participants will collaboratively explore current theories, practices, and assessment measures of community engaged learning and research, and identify opportunities to utilize your service-learning teaching as scholarship and research.
Topics covered: Overview of community-engaged scholarship; rationale for connecting service-learning with scholarship; resource guide for support; examples of high-quality scholarship; and tools to document engaged scholarship for reward and promotion. Please note that afternoon sessions are by appointment only.
