Colleges and Universities have complex personnel structures, political agendas, and decentralized goals, which can present challenges when attempting to make effective decisions. The practice of “reframing” enables campus constituents to view a situation through four different lenses to better understand and address the complex and ambiguous decisions in higher education. Participants will learn and practice how to evaluate situations using four different frames of reference, as a tool for making thoughtful and impactful decisions.
